I am holding a free seminar Harnessing the Power of Chi with Qi Gong Practice for people interested in health, energy and/or the ancient practice of Qi Gong.

This Seminar will launch the year-long Chi Cultivation Journey, which includes weekly classes commencing on the 15th of April. The seminar frames an understanding that will underpin the practice over the rest of the year.

The word chi is the Chinese name for the cosmic biological energy that sustains and enhances all life.

Qi Gong (also spelt Chi Gong, Chi Gung) is very simply the practice of cultivating chi; it is an ancient Chinese exercise, breathing and meditation practice.

Cultivating Chi is simple in principle; however humans have an incredibly deep resistance to facilitating the process, and so we must use all our resources and understanding to support the cultivation of Chi. This happens not through increasing complexity but through a refined simplicity that encompasses a deep, still and profound knowledge.

Chi Cultivation Journey

Instead of running the Chi Gong Forest Retreat, I will be running weekly classes in Qi Gong over the year. This in effect will be a one-year seminar to impart an experiential journey into the practice of Chi Cultivation. There will be three main parts which will build on each other to create a deep perspective in the understanding of Chi.

Term 1: 15th of April to 24th of June
Term 2: 15th of July to 17th of Sep
Term 3: 15th of Oct to 16th of Dec

Cost is $120 per term or $330 for all three terms.

The last term is only available to those who have attended at least one of the two previous terms and is currently practicing Qi Gong daily.

The third term is likely to be highly transformational and requires the cultivation effect of prior practice.

The whole course is highly recommended to all kinesiology students and practitioners interested in developing tools to increase their capacity to stay healthy and balanced in a clinical environment.
