This Certificate IV course explores elements of service delivery such as communication, ethics and working in conjunction with other practitioners (both alternative and mainstream) within the wider healthcare system. While these elements are common to most natural healthcare providers, this course tailors the material to kinesiologists.
The common units covered by this course are:
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Make referrals to other health care professionals when appropriate
• Use specific health terminology to communicate effectively
• Confirm physical health status
• Communicate and work effectively in health
Assessment involves completion of the workbook and attendance at a one-day practical assessment involving group discussion questions and scenario role playing in pairs. Cost is $100.
