Nutrition & Physiology Applications (NPA)

Cost: $1070 (for all three levels: NPA 1, 2 and 3)

Presents a holistic concept of health, including aspects such as toxicity, biological timing, fascia and cellular membrane function. Includes techniques to work with these aspects, as well as systems of the body (such as immune, lymphatic, vascular, autonomic nervous system). Detailed information and specialised techniques for the organs and glands of the body. Students become skilled at providing highly professional support for health imbalances and disease conditions. Assessment: Cost: $330 (combined with assessment for Health Services & Research (HSR))
Students will complete their HSR and NPA workbooks, which include providing and recording kinesiology balances using skills and techniques covered in NPA.  Students will also work in pairs to complete a research assignment investigating a partiuclar chronic disease and the ways that kinesiology can be used to work with it.  Students will attend a practical assessment weekend where they present their research findings.  The weekend also involves practical demonstration of the skills covered in HSR and NPA.
