Anatomy & Physiology of the Brain (AP Brain)

Anatomy & Physiology of the Brain (AP Brain)

Modality: Applied Physiology

Founder: Richard Utt

Instructor: Jacque Mooney

Cost: $845

Pre-requisites: 100 hours of kinesiology including Brain Formatting

Assessment involves a written exam, practical demonstration of skills and case-studies.

History

‘Experience the seed of genius.’

This course presents the very first formatting-based course ever developed. The process of formatting was one of Richard Utt’s strokes of true genius and formed the foundation of the Leap Program by Dr Charles Krebs and the foundation of NEK by Hugo Tobar.

Content

‘Everything you wanted to know about the brain but were afraid to ask.’

This 5-day course builds an indepth functional understanding of the anatomy and physiology of the brain and the kinesiology formatting to access the structures and functions. It delivers a practical working understanding of key areas of the brain (including the cortex and limbic system) affecting a wide range of conditions. The course is delivered over 5 days and reinforces an indepth understanding of brain anatomy and physiology. The course looks at clinical abnormalities and how to address them.

Learning about these areas will give skills in working with reward and punishment centres, and the formation and expression of emotions on conscious and subconscious levels. Included are issues such as pain, pleasure, anger, rage, sorrow and short term and long term memory. It also covers the body’s overall function, especially hormonal function, via its input to the hypothalamus and autonomic nervous system. This will allow you to work directly with aspects such as the entire digestive system, blood pressure, motor movement, sexuality and visual and auditory problems.

Case Study

A client comes and sees me (Guy Bennett) for the first time. She is presenting with elevated blood pressure over 200. It occurred after a head injury when a heavy object fell onto her head while working in a warehouse. It had been six months since the injury, and her blood pressure, which was normal prior to the event, had been elevated during this time. She reacted badly to all BP medication and was not medicated. She was concerned for her life as she knew the risks associated with such an elevated BP.

After doing the pre-checks and DSS I went straight for the AP Brain hypothalamus formats. By the nature of what caused it (a blow to the head), it was clear that the issue was a neurological regulatory issue. For a correction I used Cranial Kinesiology as there was likely to be residual trauma to the skull and dura that was blocking the recovery. I addressed some subtle energetic issues with this and the balance was complete.

The next day her blood pressure returned to normal and 5 years later it is still normal; her associated neck and head pain has not returned. There were no follow-up treatments from myself after this initial session.

About Jacque Mooney

Jacque has been presenting with Create Your Reality for over 7 years and has a very thorough teaching style. She has worked closely with Richard Utt and Charles Krebs. She is the Faculty Head for Applied Physiology in Australia and is the most experienced of Charles Krebs’ LEAP instructors.

Jacque is a very experienced and professional Kinesiologist having worked alongside Dr. Krebs for many years in his clinic. Her style of teaching builds a solid and indepth understanding of the human brain, reinforcing a deep neurological understanding with practical kinesiology applications.
