Part 1: Sowing the Field

The concept of God is now expressed by science as a term known as the unified field; this is an infinitely intelligent and dynamic field of energy and information; it is the source of all matter and energy within the Universe.

Hinduism and Buddhism, two of the main eastern religions, view suffering as being linked to the term Maya which refers to Illusion.  In Hinduism Maya is the illusionary perception that we are separate from the source of all things, Brahma (the God Head).  In Buddhism it refers to the illusion that we have any form of separate identity.  The common view here is that when we believe we are separate individuals we begin the onset of suffering.

Some of the attributes of the Unified Field include:

  • Self organising
  • Self correlating
  • Infinitely intelligent
  • Infinitely dynamic
  • Evolving

These attributes overlap closely with the descriptions of Brahma in the Vedas. As a practitioner of the healing arts, and with some exposure to scientific theory, I have a genuine belief that all suffering and pain has its origins with the onset of a perception of individuation from a common or shareable source. This division is not always detectable and so problems may be easily attributed to other things.

Self Organisation

With the split from source, the individual will lose some of the ability to self organise their own mind, emotions, body, and also their correct orientation within the exterior universe.  Consequently, the individual will lose its own perceived synchronicity and harmony within themselves and with all other things.  The degree of disharmony is proportional to the magnitude of the split.

All disease can be attributed to poor organisation; of the mind, emotions and body. When the body is not regulating its vast and complex processes efficiently, our functional ability declines proportionally and suffering arises.

The quest for healing is the quest to establish the organising principle.  In the establishment or re-establishment of an individual's organising principle, then we are connecting the individual to their own ability to organise their own operational parameters.

So in conclusion so far, the perceived separation creates an aberration in the unified field which changes the way we are being organised from source, which brings about the onset of suffering.

Evolving

Another attribute of the unified field is that it is constantly evolving.  The unified field is attempting to create awareness of itself from within itself and the path that this creates could be described as evolution. Evolution is happening all around us in the form of:  life on Earth , human societies, and economies.  Intrinsic to all of this is perhaps the evolution of consciousness which can be easily witnessed in our own experiences and changes in our own lives.

How Evolution Happens

Observed within the process of evolution is a flucuation between harmony and chaos.  The ability for a population to find harmony and growth after a period of chaos implies that evolution is occurring.  The inability for a new harmony to be re-established means that a fragmentation process will continue to progress, leading toward extinction.

Evolution implies moving ever forward, constantly re-defining what we are, initiated by a constantly changing environmental pressure.

The oscillation between a state of harmony and chaos parallels with the states of organisation and disorganisation discussed in the earlier section.

Within a state of chaos and apparent disorganisation there is an underlying order which is more easily observed in hindsight, as in the case of the long-term view of evolution on our planet.  When we look back at the long term development, it is easy to see an infinite intelligence at work, sculpting the expression of life and consciousness.

An individual’s evolution within their lifetime occurs primarily as an evolution of consciousness.  By creating a harmonious context from a chaotic one, consciousness continues to evolve. As we oscillate between harmony and chaos in our lives the internal evolution process continues.

Please review the book “Power versus Force”, for Dr. David R. Hawkins' interpretation of the attractor fields of consciousness that each individual consciousness journeys along - he terms this the map of consciousness.  Dr Hawkins’ work is similar to the tone scale developed by Ron L Hubbard.   http://www.mapofconsciousness.com/

It is likely that the ascension up the scale will be experienced internally as a movement of harmony into chaos and back to harmony – notching us upward. The end result of the Map of Consciousness is “enlightenment” which is synonymous with the ending of the perception of separation or veil of illusion (Maya) and the realisation of Unity in Hinduism and Emptiness in Buddhism.

In evolutionary terms that would mean that the individual at this end state of consciousness would now know that they are one with the forces that brought them there.

We established that the disorganisation and chaos that we experience by way of suffering plays a part in our evolution. This means that it can be functional in regard to our overall journey to higher states of consciousness.  However when we are locked out of the experience of harmony, this leads to an escalation of stress and the possible extinction of the individual.

From the perspective of a practitioner of the healing arts we are looking at supporting our clients to create harmony and the ability to self organise.  However we should also be aware that we are only sampling a small slice of the universe's infinite intelligence and while practitioners such as myself are attempting to support clients to make their shifts, there are also hierarchies of authority that reflect the divine ordering of the unified field, which go way beyond our ability to comprehend.

Attachment

Hinduism and Buddhism also both use the term attachment, which relates closely with the concept of separation and suffering.

If you are separate then you need to attach to something.  If you are in a state of unity then you are free of the need to attach, because you are already connected with everything.  So in a way separation is balanced by the need to attach to something.

When we are attached we are anchored down and unable to evolve up the map of consciousness or the tone scale.  This brings with it a disorganisation and chaos; we build up stress because we are not evolving. Attachments may appear as things or people, but they are just reflecting beliefs which keep us locked into a perspective or level of consciousness. We are generally fearful of changing to higher levels of consciousness; the fear is because the higher levels are not known to us.

Surrogate Identities

When we have a perceived separation then we have a disconnection; when we have a disconnection the intelligent self organising streams of universal information and energy are not fully available to us, thereby creating a void within ourselves.

In the same way humans don’t like the unknown they seem to react very badly with voids or emptiness.  Consequently they manufacture superfluous and counterproductive beliefs to fill them up.

These beliefs form surrogate identities that fill up the perceived void state of being separate. The problem with the surrogate identity is that the person really believes that’s who they are and so to lose that would be like death.

The surrogate identity tends to be self generating in that it validates its own need for existence and views anything else as dangerous, particularly the void.  Surrogate Identities are synonymous with the concept of the ego.

The Void

The void is a term that crops up in Buddhist and shamanic teachings.  It is a transition between states or levels of consciousness.  Without passing through a void-like state the Surrogate Identities don’t shift to reveal an increasing state of unity. The more dependent we are on our beliefs and thinking to orientate us, then the Surrogate Identities become more real and have more control.  The void is an opportunity for a mental upgrade toward a more essential way of being; it allows us to let go of beliefs and thourghts that no longer serve us.  It is a transition from a state of non self to a state of self.  The mind is attempting to disengage from its attachments.  A sense of no mind begins, there is an inner expansiveness, a feeling of free falling – this is the void.

Essential identity - Self v’s non Self

In my system of working there are two states, self and non-self.  I like this concept because it is simple and helps to avoid the idea that there is something to fix.

The self refers to you essentially and the non self is like the negative space that occurs when the self is not there.

The non self is a cluster of surrogate identities to fill up the space where the self isn’t.

This is good because it knocks the idea of high and low self esteem on the head.  You can’t have a low self that needs elevation or a high self that needs bringing down; you only need to re-establish self where self is not.

Once self is re-established then the self organisation and infinite intelligence of the field return to restore balance – no one really needs to do anything or change, we just need to stop identifying with non self and realise the futility of trying to fix everything.

Crossing the void

The self views the void as a net of interdependent, self-organising, self correlating variables that stretches across the Universe (unified field).   The non self, a cluster of surrogate identities sees the void as a threat to its own existence. It struggles and fights to see itself as seperate from the unified field.

The edge of the void is a threshold; it is a place from which we can embark on a journey of change or where we shrink back, fearing the expansiveness.  The edge of the void is the threshold of either growth or extinction.  It is where the symptoms of suffering arise and where healing can begin.

Part II The Mechanics of Healing

So far we’ve looked at some key concepts for understanding the backdrop to supporting the healing process and ending suffering.  Now we can investigate the mechanics of applying what we have reviewed.  However we need to first investigate some other areas to open up the understanding.

Fractal

A fractal is a recursive self similar pattern that is infinitely complex; as you zoom in on the pattern it continues to unfold in a never-ending array.  Image

Fractal embedding is a possible way that the universe builds and assembles itself. A basic pattern forms a subunit which repeats itself throughout the system.  It has a symmetry which is conserved by the universe.  The symmetry reflects a packing or ordering ratio (Golden Mean) which allows maximum efficiency that facilitates the natural laws.

The proportions of the golden mean and the patterns it creates are seen throughout nature.

Hologram

A hologram is a device which uses converging laser light to create interference patterns which are then able to be recorded onto a special plate. When a single laser light is shone onto the plate a 3D image is re-created.  The holographic model can be used partially as an explanation of how the universe operates (David Bohm).  It can also be used as a way of explaining the memory process (Carl Pilbrim) in the brain and many other natural and paranormal phenomenons.

A key quality of the hologram is that every piece of it contains the whole image which works in with the fractal concept above.

Superstring Theory

A key theory being explored in Quantum Mechanics and Physics is Superstring theory.  We healers generally love it because it is based on resonance or vibration.  Superstring theory says that every thing in the universe is formed by a common minute vibrating string called super strings, and that frequency in which they resonate causes the form and state of all things.

The implication of this is that by shifting the frequencies of the superstrings we can re model the interference patters of the hologram, there by creating our reality.

Most of the corrections we use in modern Kinesiology are resonance/vibration based.

Kinesiology as a Healing tool

Kinesiology is based on muscle testing. This muscle testing provides feedback from the body, revealing information. It accesses an intrinsic intelligence that seeks to support the client to evolve.  It shows up specific stress across multiple levels of the person’s whole being.

This is how a kinesiologist views a person they are working on:

The Kinesiology then picks up the array of individual stress patterns across the persons being and brings them into consciousness. The types of common stress patterns come in the form of structural, physiological, biochemical, emotional, psychological, neurological, and energetic.  The information reviewed in each of these levels can be very specific.

Once the array of the stress pattern is brought into consciousness the Kinesiologist matches the stress against a wide variety of possible corrections options.

The muscle testing is able to cross match a stress pattern with a specific correction. It appears that the correction offers a kind of vibrational cancellation, where the stress pattern and the specific correction create a neutralisation of the perceived separation.

The vibratory shift is possibly happening on the level of the superstrings themselves. Which intern re-arranges the interference pattern of our hologram sculpting our reality.

Our direct connection to the self organising principle of the Unified Field is restored.  Re-ordering the hologram into a state of self and from a state of non self

Our attachments and surrogate identities fall away as the state of self is restored.

As this happens we are restoring a state of harmony from a state of chaos which implies that evolution is occurring, notching us up the map of consciousness toward the realisation of a state of unity.

My next article will review and compare the validity of the tone scale and the map of consciousness.
